Foreign clients, investing in Mauritius also find our services invaluable, as they are not always on the island. Even if they are, they leave the details and the work to our team to realize their dreams, whilst enjoying their holiday and not spending time looking at various shops, showrooms and suppliers around the island.
Residential Project: MANTA COVE
“My family and I purchased a four-bedroom home in the West. We reached out to various companies. Among them, Kim from Lemon and Lime stood out. Since we were in the UK and couldn’t visit the property, we hired Kim and her team to oversee the full project from start to finish.
Despite the distance, we had numerous video calls with Kim and Isabelle, who were always responsive to our needs. They created mood boards, color schemes and designs, and sourced various suppliers, including carpenters and other providers. They also manufactured beds, headboards, sofas, and ottomans, through Intercept.
Our collaboration with Kim and her team began in July 2021, and by November of the same year, we moved into our new home. Throughout this process, we trusted them to handle everything. They liaised with the developer and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and addressed many issues on our behalf.

Hospitality Project: KAZ’ALALA HOSTED B&B
“In 2017, Island Living entered a strategic partnership with Trend Lifestyle Holdings through Lemon & Lime (Design, projects, décor) to develop a boutique Hospitality project.
The goal was to renovate 4 old management homes into a Bed & Breakfast accommodation as well as add F&B and Leisure facilities.
The scope of work & brief given to Lemon & Lime was to:
- Develop a Concept Design with Island Living that reflected Mauritian authenticity, with internal design team.
- Develop an Interior Design package & FFE package with internal design team.
- Prepare a Project Cost Schedule & Budget with its internal Quantity Surveyor team.
- Select and Project Manage a Contactor with its Project Management team.
- Manage the Project delivery schedule.
